Spanish carved pine and wrought iron strongbox, late 17th c., the front and sides carved with panels of stylized leaves, the front with an elaborate steel lock and latch with polychrome green and gilt highlights, 16" l.
Remnants of gilt and green paint. Two patches to bottom board.
