Southern walnut and yellow pine pie safe, mid 19th c., with punched tin panels, purportedly from the James McDaniel Plantation, 63 3/4" h., 58 1/4" w.
Depth - 19" d. Original hinges. Top is two board, slight warp and staining. Refinshed. Original tin. One side panel with 1" hole, a few patches to tin panels. A few applied moldings replaced, break to corner molding on top. Flat fram molding. Feet are ok. Overall good condition. Secondary wood is yellow pine.
