Southern Federal walnut slant front desk, ca. 1810, the fall front enclosing a fitted interior with inlaid prospect and document drawers, above a case with 4 drawers flanked by chamfered sides with potted vine inlay supported by flaring French feet, 44" h., 38 1/2" w. Keyholes patched. Inlay original. Hinges and brasses replaced. Losses to cockbeading on base. Secondary woods are yellow pine and white pine.
