Southern Federal inlaid mahogany desk and bookcase, ca. 1800, 98 1/4" h., 39 1/2" w. Provenance: Maryland collection.
Broken arch possibly an early addition. Feet are probably original but reattached. Back feet were moved forward 1" when they were reattached. Brasses replaced. Crack and loss to edge of one drawer facing. Secondary woods are hard pine and oak.
