Southeastern Pennsylvania sgraffito decorated redware plate dated 1811, initialed "NM", with green spread winged eagle decoration, 12" dia. Provenance: Descended in the family of Arthur Sussel.
Three 3" repairs to rim. Glaze exfoliation. A few small repairs to rim. Small 1/2" touch-up within body. 2" tough-up to glaze in center.
