Southeastern Pennsylvania painted pine apple box, ca. 1830, with scalloped and pierced sides, retaining its original red and white floral decoration on a dark blue green ground, 5 1/2'' h., 10'' w. Provenance: Marjorie Schorsch, 1987.
Very minor small loss to one corner. Small loss in height to one center scroll and one scroll with 2" crack. Small loss at lower corner at dovetail. Provenance: The Ralph Esmerian Collection, New York, NY.
