South Carolina Federal mahogany sideboard, ca. 1800, probably Wilmington, with an oblong top overhanging a base with 3 line inlaid drawers, above a bottle drawer, a door, and 2 oval inlaid center doors, supported by line and star inlaid square tapering legs terminating in banded cuffs, 41" h., 67" w. Condition
Dimensions: 67" (case width), 69 1/4" (top width), 21" (depth). Brasses original. Refinished. Top left drawer with new base. Age cracks to side of case. Minor veneer cracking. Secondary woods are poplar and white pine. Front legs are 3/4 banded (not banded in back). Back legs are only banded on front of leg surfac. The leg second from the right side front has a 3/4" x 2" patch below banding on right side at foot (below banding).
