Soap Hollow, Somerset County, Pennsylvania painted pine chest of drawers dated 1851, with scrolled crest with star stencils above a case with six drawers with grained decoration and yellow beaded edges, inscribed Manufactured by John Sala, the sides stenciled FM and 1851 on a black ground, all resting on turned feet, 53" h., 37" w.
