SMLE no. 1 MK III bolt action rifle, .303 British caliber, with walnut stock and serial number at forend, inspection stamp behind trigger guard, also stamped on right side of stock, including 1922 and HV, shield stamp at trigger guard, dated 1920, adjustable rear ladder sight, 25" barrel. SN #57240 C&R Provenance: Collection of Ed Hilliard, Collingswood, New Jersey.
Overall good condition, heavy handling marks to stock, bright bore with strong rifling.
