Sharps New Model 1859 Navy contract rifle, .56 caliber, the lock inscribed with the C. Sharps and R. S. Lawrence patents, having a straight walnut stock, folding rear sight, with saber bayonet lug near muzzle, 30'' barrel. SN 33949
Bore with strong rifling, all metal turning brown, good stocks with normal handling marks, overall very good condition.
