Sharps New Model 1859 conversion saddle ring carbine, .50-70 caliber, with walnut stocks and DFC cartouche on left butt stock, Lawrence and Sharps 2 line marks to right receiver, faint 2 line Sharps mark to left receiver, no barrel markings, Lawrence rear ladder sight, 22" barrel. SN #58501
Very good overall condition, 85% blue remaining on barrel, some case colors remaining on protected areas of receiver, minor handling marks, good bore with strong rifling.
