Set of twelve George III mahogany dining chairs, ca. 1785, each with a carved shield back and over-upholstered seat supported by square tapering legs terminating in spade feet.
1 - several repaired breaks to back, front leg detached. 2 - repaired breaks to crest at stiles. 3 - a few repaired breaks to splat. 4 - 2" patch to splat. 5 - repaired break to crest, heavy wear to legs. 6 - a few repaired breaks to back. 7 - a couple repaired breaks to back. 8 - a couple repaired breaks to back. Armchair - a couple repaired breaks to back. Armchair 2 - several repaired breaks to back.
