Set of eight Victorian mahogany dining chairs, 19th c., consisting of two armchairs and six side chairs, each with carved female figure stiles and leather upholstery with relief lion passants. Provenance: Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia, PA, proceeds to benefit the Charles Knox Smith Art Acquisition Fund.
Ca. 1865. Probably English. Overall good condition. Some losses to upholstery. Most have a sticky film on the seats. Provenance: Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia, PA, proceeds to benefit the Charles Knox Smith Art Acquisition Fund.
