Set of eight George III mahogany dining chairs, ca. 1760, each with a carved crest and pierced splat over a compass seat and cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet.
Overall good condition. Minor repaired breaks. Most have one or two replaced knee returns and corner blocks. One chair with open crack to knee which needs to be repaired. A couple with pegs added to stiles at seat frame. One chair with several repaired breaks to crest.
