Scrimshaw powder horn, inscribed Benjamin Blane made 42 years of age 9 of Augst - my 42 horn, dated 1761 with crowned lion, sail ships, stag, fish etc., the plug with incised carved compass star, 13 1/4'' l.
4'' crack at the top, plug with 2'' by 1/4'' loss.
