School of Thomas Spencer (British, 1700-1763), oil on canvas of a horse and rider surrounded by hunting dogs, 25" x 29 3/4".
Lined (old lining). Period frame. Small sporadic touch-ups, mostly to background, approx. 5-10%, very little to horse and rider. 4" repair above hound on right. Two 1" repairs to body of hound on left. A few small touch-ups to horses body. All restoration is very old and visible.
