Scarce New York redware bottle, ca. 1830, attributed to the Mormon leader Heber Kimball, Mendon, New York, with green and brown concentric bands, one of three jars in this form exist, 7 3/4" h. A nearly identical example sold at Crocker Farm, July 2019, lot 400, another exhibited at the Museum of Church History, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Salt Lake City, Utah. Provenance: The Collection of Ellen & Richard Levine, New York.

Condition

Overall very good. A couple small glaze flecks to spout. Light firing lines on interior of spout. Two glaze losses to shoulder.
