Samuel Bentz (Mount Pleasant Artist, Pennsylvania, active 1792-1850), Lancaster County watercolor and ink on paper fraktur for Maria Anna Martin, dated 1833, with typical motifs including striped spheres on stylized plinths, a clock, tulip trees, and a figure in colorful red, yellow, green, and brown, 9 1/2" x 7 1/2". Stain in left middle in script and diamond area. Examined out of frame.
