Runaway slave, Boston newspaper advertisement, posted in a full issue of the Columbian Centinel, Wednesday, September 30th, 1807, ad posted by Winthrop Sargent, late governor of the Mississippi Territory, claiming the man has a good likeness to Sancho, states he absented himself on the evening of the 17th, offering a reward of $50 to anyone who captures and returns him to Winthrop Sargent or to Mr. Ignatius Sargent in Boston, Messrs. G & I Aspinwalle in New York, or Col. Hodgdon in Philadelphia - or the sum of one hundred dollars for delivering him to Mr. David Urquhart, merchant, New-Orleans, ad - 2 1/2" x 5", paper - 13 1/2" x 20 1/2".
