Robbins & Lawrence five-shot percussion pepper box pistol, .31 cal., with a ring trigger and walnut grips in a period felt lined walnut presentation case, serial #2771, 4 1/2" barrels with a prong type barrel hinge.
The browned barrels one scroll engraved at breech and one ribbed. 20% of blue remains on frame, which is also scroll engraved. The walnut grips are fine with no chips. Included in the fitted wooden case is a loading tool, powder flask and box of percussion caps. The barrel pivot spring has lost its tension. Overall fine condition.
