Rifled musket, .58 caliber, lock inscribed CS Richmond 1863, 40'' barrel.
The unmarked stock has been cut 2" in front of the lower band, which is missing. The barrel is missing both sights & the breech plug does not fit correctly into the stock. It has an unmarked brass buttplate which appears to be a recent reproduction.
