Richard Evett Bishop(American, 1887-1975), oil on board, titled "Landing", executed in 1964, together with another, titled "Over Maine Coastline", executed in 1963, 6" x 8". Small flake to paint in the lower left corner. Overall good condition. No apparent touch-ups/repairs. The Private Studio Collection of Richard E. Bishop is being offered to the public for the first time. Each piece comes with a history of the artist, his work, and a signed letter from Bishop’s heirs authenticating the work and it’s place in the private collection. Each is now in a ivory mat and a contemporary plain black wood frame (note that some frames do have abrasions).
