Revolutionary War era document, dated January 29, 1778, detailing the confiscation of the forty acres owned by brothers Ezekiel and John Tilton, Loyalists residing in Middletown, Monmouth County, New Jersey, this document is signed by three Patriot commissioners and two witnesses, one of which is David Forman, likely Brigadier General David Forman, also known as David Black, frame 17 1/2" x 16".
