Remington model 1861 Navy revolver, .36 caliber, with brass trigger guard and walnut grips, 7 1/2" octagonal barrel. SN #S12298 Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Very good overall condition, retains 50% blue on frame and cylinder, good grips, indexes correctly, no proofs on grips, maker's address visible but with some wear.
