Red, navy blue, green, and white jacquard coverlet, probably Pennsylvania, the edge inscribed "R. Griner. 1844", the border decorated with three rows of birds and small sunbursts, the interior with leaves, roses, and sunbursts, 88" x 85". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 104 and 105.
Some fringe loss. A little stained at top edge. Some small losses to blue. Overall very good.
