Red, navy blue, and whte jacquard coverlet, mid 19th c., probably Pennsylvania or Ohio, the bottom border with double rows of baskets of fruit, the sides with double rows of flowers and geometric designs, the interior with peacocks perched on a tree, peacocks on the ground, and flower head decoration, 81" x 79". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 196 and 197.
Overall very good/excellent condition. A few very small losses. Some staining and overall browning to white areas.
