Red, blue, green, and white jacquard coverlets, mid 19th c., probably Pennsylvania, for M. Roarbaugh, one corner block inscribed "M. Roarbaugh", the border with leaf and floral decoration, the interior with stylized potted flowers atop elaborate cake stands, 93" x 91". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 180 and 181.
Some losses to fringe. Sporadic small losses throughout body. A couple small repairs.
