Red, blue, green, and white jacquard coverlet, mid 19th c., probably Pennsylvania, for Maria C. Cownover, one corner block inscribed "Maria. C Cownover", the borders with leaf and floral decoration, the interior with floral and leaf tiles, 94" x 89". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 176 and 177.
Overall good/very good condition. Some losses to fringe. A few small losses to body. Small repair.
