Rare special order Marlin model 1892 lever action rifle, .25 rimfire caliber, with a 24'' octagonal barrel. Serial #393184. C&R Good bore with strong rifling. 50% of old re-blue remaining on metal. There is some minor pitting on the right side of the receiver & magazine tube. Very good stocks with a old 1/2'' chip on the right buttstock at the junction with the steel butt plate. Consignor states that a small pin was added to elevator so the owner could shoot .22 short cartridges.
