Rare set of three Massachusetts silk on linen samplers, wrought by sisters Mary Jane, Deborah, and Sarah Allen in the years 1832, 1829, and 1827, 16 1/2" x 17". They were the daughters of Captain Rufus and Deborah Allen. Provenance: Descended in the family to the present owner.
