Rare Philadelphia William & Mary walnut gateleg table, ca. 1700, with an oval top overhanging a triangular base with a single gateleg, the brass plaque on gate inscribed George Deeble married 4-17-1669 to Dorothea Thorne, 28 1/4" h., 33" w., 39 1/2" d. Provenance: The Collection of Margaret Schiffer.
Description should read ca. 1700 (NOT ca. 1900). Age cracks to top. Small losses to edge of feet. Small patches.
