Rare pair of Philadelphia fanback Windsor armchairs, ca. 1790, with voluted ears and turnip feet, retaining traces of their original green surface. Provenance: Private California collection.
Both have patches to one arm support at seat. Refinished. #1 - one arm replaced, a couple repaired breaks to medial crest, one arm support patched at seat. #2 - repaired break to medial crest. One arm spindle replaced.
