Rare Norristown, Pennsylvania cherry tall clock, ca. 1835, by Jacob Detweiler Custer (1805-1871), the broken arch bonnet enclosing an eight day works with moon phase and painted face, signed Jacob Custer, over a case with an arched door and chamfered corners, 94 1/2" h. Provenance: Descended in the Beyer/Detwiler families.
