Rare New Jersey iron door latch plate, dated 1769, initialed IE, 9" x 5 1/8". This piece bears the initials of Isaac Evans and was removed from the Jacob Evans House in Marlton. It was photographed by Nathaniel Ewan in 1939 for his Historic American Building Survey. Provenance: A New Jersey collection.
