Rare London Delft plate, mid 18th c., depicting a hot air balloon, probably Lunardi's ascent in London, 9" dia., together with two other Delft plates, 8 3/4" dia. and 8 1/2" dia.
Blue & white - typical glaze loss to edge. Polychrome - significant restoration to edge. Balloon - 3" repair to rim, other smaller repairs to edge.
