Rare Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Chippendale walnut tall chest, ca. 1780, with a rare broken arch pediment, with wall of Troy carving and flame finials, above a case with eight drawers flanked by inlaid quarter columns, all resting on ogee bracket feet, 86'' h., 42'' w.
Condition
Overall good condition. Brasses appear to be original. Finials replaced. A couple spurs with repaired breaks. Large section of one broken arch replaced.
