Rare Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania redware jar, dated 1811, signed by the potter Jacob Wareham Frankstown Township Huntingdon County, the exterior with cream, green, and incised banding, 4 1/8'' h. This is possibly the earliest dated piece of Huntingdon County redware. Provenance: R. H. Wood, September 8, 1972.

Condition

Old chips to rim. Minor glaze flaking. Shallow 1" chip to base.
