Rare cone hammer model 1896 Broomhandle Mauser, 7.63 mm, with no markings on either panel, but with a 3/4'' x 1/4'' flame blue panel on the right side of the receiver and a 5 1/2'' round barrel.
Antique (NOT C&R). The only marking are ''Waffenfabrick Mauser Oberndorf a/m'' & Crown over U on left receiver flat. There are 4 small proofs to the bottom of the barrel which include a ''4'' & a ''G''. The bore has strong rifling & the finish is exceptional. Overall excellent condition. Serial# 11859.
