Rare Chester County, Pennsylvania pewter bowl, early 19th c., possibly made by Samuel Pennock and bearing the inscription RJD from JGW Used at Westtown B.S. 1843 Only drinking vessels on table, 2" h., 5 5/8" dia. Provenance: Descended in the Scattergood and Gawthrop families of Chester County, Pennsylvania to the present owner.
