Queen Anne mahogany side chair, ca. 1740-60, possibly New York, having a flaring back with shaped crest, the scroll terminals curving to a solid splat, the seat with gadrooned apron resting on cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, the slip seat in ivory needlework.
Both ears with small repairs, one with original piece. Two glue blocks replaced. Seat frame replaced.
