Providence Tool Co. model 1863 contract rifle, .58 caliber, with walnut stock, the lock inscribed Providence Tool Co., Providence RI - 1865, with US spread wing eagle, two leaf folding rear sight, together with bayonet and leather scabbard, 40" barrel.
Overall good condition, heavy handling marks to stock, 3" tight crack behind lock plate, pitting to barrel around breech, lock and bolster, 1 1/2" chip behind bolster, replacement ramrod, scabbard is a reproduction.
