Pre-war commercial Mauser model 1896 Broomhandle pistol, 7.63 mm, with no markings on either panel, stamped Waffenfabrick Mauser Oberndorf forward of the breech and Waffenfabrick Mauser Oberndorf A Neckar on right side of frame, crown over U on the left receiver flat, and small proofs to the bottom of the barrel, which include a M 5 Z, adjustable rear tangent site 50 to 1000 meters, and grooved walnut grips with lanyard ring, 5 1/2" barrel. SN #243494 C&R
Overall very good condition, bright bore with strong rifling, retains 90% blue, good grips, all visible serial numbers are matching.
