Portland, Maine silk embroidered memorial for the Loring family, early 19th c., featuring a central pencil drawn monument inscribed with several Loring family members including Captain Ignatius Loring, who served with honour in the Revolutionary War, died August 7, 1805, surrounded by willow trees with cathedral and ship in the background, 18" x 20 1/2".
