Philadelphia writing arm windsor chair, ca. 1790, branded "I.B. Ackley", the crest with scrolled ears, above a knuckled arm supported by turned legs. Provenance: Ellis Family, Philadelphia; F.D. Brinton Oermead Farm, West Chester, PA 1944, Titus Geesey.
Drawer bottom restored. Repaired break to middle crest. Wear to edge of seat.
