Philadelphia silver teapot, ca. 1820, bearing the touch of Edward Lownes, with dove finial and serpent spout, 9" h., approx. 39.3 troy oz.
Monogrammed on one side. Excellent overall condition. No apparent dents. Base appears to have been resoldered where it meets the back of the pot. Numerous chips to one of the wooden washers in handle. Clear mark of maker.
