Philadelphia or New Jersey silk on linen needlework embroidery, attributed to Mary Zeller's School, inscribed Abigal Jones her work 1793, with family record of Samuel and Elizabeth Jones and their eight children, with birth dates ranging from 1732 through 1771, having a center house with stepped lawn of animals and a man with a gun, flanked by potted flowers, the upper section with Adam and Eve, strawberry plants, flowers, etc., all within a trailing strawberry and floral vine border with silk ribbon border, 18" x 15". For similar works see ring Girlhood Embroideries, pages 361-369. Exhibited at the Museum of West Chester's Centennial Celebration, October 11, 12 and 13, 1899.
