Philadelphia Queen Anne mahogany candlestand, ca. 1765, the circular dish top above a birdcage and suppressed ball standard, supported by cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, retaining an old mellow surface, 27" h., 20 3/4" dia.
Repaired break to base of standard at legs. Two patches to top (6" x 1/2" patch to top and 1" x 1" patch to rim). Chip to top of standard. Provenance: Estate of Walter Bott Loucks Jr., York, Pennsylvania.
