Philadelphia or Baltimore Chippendale mahogany Pembroke table, ca. 1775, with a drop leaf top and single drawer, supported by square legs with fretwork returns joined by pierced serpentine cross stretcher, 28" h., 20" w., 28" d.
Pull replaced. Large repaired break to corner of one leaf. Sliver patch along edge near repair. Drawer bottom and backboard replaced. Brass replaced (patch to knob hole). Provenance: Estate of Walter Bott Loucks Jr., York, Pennsylvania.
