Philadelphia combback windsor armchair, ca. 1765, the serpentine crest with voluted ears, over a 9 spindle back flanked by knuckled arms supported by baluster turned legs joined by stretchers, retaining an early Spanish brown surface over the original green.
Center stretcher is an old replacement. Back legs worn down. Excellent surface.
