Philadelphia Chippendale mahogany tea table, ca. 1770, the circular dish top tilting on a birdcage and suppressed ball standard supported by cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet, 28 1/2" h., 33 3/4" dia.
Birdcage had been screwed to top. Three patches to top. Butterflies added to underside with patches to top. Repaired break to one leg at ankle. Provenance: PA museum.
